EgoJet is a fresh approach on automotive user interface design.
Its overall dark and flat style minimizes the distraction of the driver and supports his information intake.
The central radial element is a combination of speed and RPM gauge. While the needle visualizes the speed, the current transmission is projected on the outside.
Thus the driver only has to look at one spot to gather all important information.
There is enough space on the left side to handle the most common in-car tasks like searching for music or entering a destination adress for navigation.
In order to support a more complex view like a 360° car browser the user can switch the gauge to linear mode. In this mode the content can occupy two thirds of the screen.
