The making of the K 2016 Covestro show car

Technicon Design Studio Cologne contributed to the project with exterior surfacing and design detailing of the full scale and third scale show car models. Additional production of most of the CGI work within the website linked above, countless visualisations during the project and a large number of VR reviews within the design and engineering phase made it a very successful project for our client, participating partners and us.

In addition to the standard design, surfacing and show car engineering work we have been responsible for the entire development and production of the full functional show car wheels for the full scale model. This included mechanical and electrical engineering plus the management of the electrical interface with the entire lighting electronics of the show car.
